Here's the winningest 928 ever - Kim Crumb's 1989 928 GT in full race regalia!   About the driver - Kim is the national Porsche Club of America (PCA) 928 technical expert and concours judge (over 8 years of volunteer service!) as well as full-time racer!  I should have said winningest car and driver, because Kim is practically unstoppable in any race he enters - PCA, SCCA, Hillclimbs, et cetera.  His track record speaks for itself and usually Kim is the FASTEST car around the track - even against 100% purpose-built racecars no matter the manufacturer or model!  

"We've" been trying to tell you all along the 928 is the best road car ever built - and with Kim leading our charge, it's being proven on the roads and tracks across the U.S.   Here are Kim's Fantastic Race Results - with major kudos to the entire race team:  Kim John Crumb, Bob Amick, Paul Beyl, Paul Cole and Roger Finke! 
 

 

Below is a parting shot - I couldn't just post one photo for you all!   All 928 fans are encouraged to support your local PCA by joining  -  one membership benefit is access to Kim for technical advice, when he's not racing that is!   Keep watching this space for future features - Kim is most likely the ultimate 928 enthusiast and is "interested in a constructive way to be on the internet" so you never know what's coming down the pipe! 

Kim, You da' man!  (Anyone that informally tests hydroplane resistance at 80+ while cranking Ultimate Dance '97 can't be all that bad!  BTW Kim, if/when  you make it out this-a-ways to Northern Cal.,  you just gotta' have a listen  to Jim Murphy's S4 stereo setup!  I KNOW you'll dig it!) 

Thanks for your efforts Kim - you're blazing a 'wasserpumper' trail that's near impossible to follow!  (Due in no small part by those raging Pilots I bet!)   For those of us so inclined to dig into the 928 brains - Kim is also an Autothority dealer - ahh just like the old days, race & win on Sunday, sell on Monday!   Look for a 1/2 page AutoThority ad in the December PANORAMA, to celebrate the '97 race season accomplishments...
